Baltimore Food and Faith Project 2010 Summer Film Series

The Future of Food and The Dying Fields will be the films shown at the 2nd film event of the Baltimore Food and Fith Summer Film Series. You are invited to see the films, enjoy organically grown popcorn, and talk about the debate over genetically engeinnered foods and how these plants affect communities here and around the world.

The films will be shown at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, 4 East University Pkwy, Baltimore on Thursday, June 15 from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Health Care Forums

Two federal health care forums were held at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health on June 24th and 25th. Over 275 people either attended in person or watched it by webcast with many asking great questions. You can see the June 25th forum in full at www.healthcareforall.com


Health Care Discussion Guide

The bioethics committee of The Episcopal Diocese of East Tennessee has formulated a program for parishes that will  allow Episcopalians to enter into a dialogue (not a debate) related to our individual, community, and national calling as Christians regarding health care reform.  This 3-session program is based on our understanding as Episcopalians of the four-legged stool of scripture, tradition, reason, and experience as the basis of our theology and heritage.  This program has been blessed by General Convention and recommended to U.S. dioceses throughout TEC.
