"Endue with the spirit of wisdom those to whom in thy Name
we entrust the authority of government."

Mission Statement

The world, through the ages, has cried out for God's Justice. The Church is called to bring to the world Christ's truth, compassion, and love, which is the very foundation of that justice. Americans have been given a gift that makes it possible to answer that call, a form of government known as a democratic republic. In the context of that government, it is the duty and responsibility of every member of the Christian community to work for God's Justice with those in authority when possible and oppose them when matters of injustice arise.

The mission of both the National and The Maryland Episcopal Public Policy Networks is to bring awareness of government policies and Church's positions so that we can collectively and effectively voice the Christian concern for just policies. Participating actively in this network will enable us to respond to our baptismal covenant to strive for justice and peace for all people.
